HotStuff Simulation

An interactive simulation of HotStuff, a Byzantine fault-tolerant consensus algorithm. Each circle is a node; the protocol proceeds in rounds where a leader (purple) proposes the next colour of the rainbow and replicas (blue) vote. Adjust network reliability, timeouts, and firewall rules to force forks and failures. Hover a control for details, and click a node to inspect its view of the state.
